The Bourgeois family tree on this site is rooted on Don's father, Ellis Paul Bourgeois. The paternal Bourgeois line stretches back to Jean Baptiste Bourgeois and his family who arrived in New Orleans around 1765. Other lines include the Lasseigne, Picou, Vicknair, Folse (Foltz), Tregre (Dreger), Matherne, Rome (Rommel), and Edelmeyer families.
